You know when you can tell a person is a glass half full. I would say Stacy falls into this category- And when you meet someone like that it makes your day better/brighter. I’ll tell you a little tale of one trip to Walmart the other day. I was in line and it was a long line and someone behind me as I was checking out started complaining real loud about how there were only two cashiers checking people out. “And get some more people up here to check people out.”–he yelled. And the cashier rightly so rolled her eyes and said we are working on it–the guy was rude in tone. So, I proceeded to check out and as I was leaving the guy at the exit greeting and seeing people off who I don’t know said, “Thank you for coming in we do appreciate you! I hope to see you again soon.” And he was so nice and genuine it set me up as I left for being a lot nicer to the next person I encountered. Even though I just saw a guy bring down a bunch of people working real hard in a crazy pandemic time in line.
The point is, it’s easy to get frustrated but it also is not that hard to be nice. And when you encounter those people that try to be nice it helps you roll it along…. So that brings me to Stacy. She is one that keeps that feeling rolling. She was so easy to laugh, which gets me laughing and then the person you don’t know down the street is laughing–just kidding but you get where I’m going.
Stacy is going to K-State next year. and she sees herself teaching 4th grade in 5 years. She wanted to take some pretty photos with lots of flowers and different bright colors for her Senior photos and in her hood. She is enjoying trying different foods that she wouldn’t necessarily eat during Covid stay at home. Stacy you are just plain fun–her brothers and mom and family are just plain fun. I know these things. You keep the fun rolling. (and who doesn’t love this mural on the side of The Well)
Stacy, keep laughing.. it helps the world.
