Starting Over, the blog

Sep 4, 2019

This is hard to even write, recently my blog was hacked and I lost it all, years of thought and journaling out the window. I’m no IT expert but it apparently happens and you know what I mean when I say when “it”. I am trying to see the silver lining in this–there is a season of change and I’m in it. I have always had a love/hate relationship with social media and keeping up with it and showing my work and “advertising” myself but my blog was sort of the solution to that, I could express myself and tell my stories and also show my work. It was truly a journal of my journey/ies. But here we go, onward and upward–no use in crying over spilt milk or margarita(I guess). Lots of life has happened in the time you last heard from me, I have a highschooler now, I am redoing my studio (which I hope to share more of later) I started taking newborn photos in hospitals, I’ve traveled and worked and watched lots of kids activities, celebrated birthdays and graduations as well as gained two new nephews–one with some hearing and health challenges. There have been many new weddings, seniors andĀ families to share. There seems to be days that are endless and months that fly by but I keep trying to manage my time as best I can while being present in the moments that I try to capture. I have lots of stories to tell and so much I want to say but also want to be out there living so I’m not going to be hard on myself if you hear from me sporadically. I’m going to pick up where I left off and insert bits and pieces when I can to continue the history that is “SNAP”. Keep checking in my friends I’m here and not going anywhere soon–except for on a drive through a neighborhood or small town I’ve never seen. xoxo trish
