Oh 2018….

So here we are at the dawn of a new year again. I’m not going to say it started off great. To the punk that stole my purse on Christmas Eve you suck, suck real bad, but that’s all I’m going to say about that. A little car trouble and furnace issues are not convenient but hey what are you going to do?

The break has been nice, I’ve hardly looked at social media or the web, only slightly thinking of the next step in business and marketing. Instead focused on family and those that found themselves in front of my camera. It’s really nice to be busy but also find balance for all the family stuff, I find that is often the case around the holidays.

But like I mentioned, January is like 5am in the morning. Hard to get started because its dark and cold, but full of hope and promise of the new day ahead. You know that the warmth and light are going to return again, and what will you do with it. It may not be the day you envision, it may be that sadness or inconvenience or something gets in the way. But you have to believe that the next day, month, year are going to rock.

I’m not going to go on my resolutions again (I think I’ve done that on this blog before–can you say broken record) …..of course getting organized, working out, and being better in business and all that is on there. I’m constantly striving to be better, that is not something that I “resolve” only at the beginning of the year. But really for someone that finds much happiness in what she accomplishes I hope I can find happiness in less then that. My kids faces, the flowers that bloom or snow that falls, the sun setting on an evening drive. Not everything needs to be tied up in what we have to show at the end of the day, although important. I need to remember that.

To all of my dear clients and friends, thank you for your support and encouragement in 2017. Here’s to loads of light and joy in 2018, and many moments of happiness.
